Julie: I have been involved with dogs for as long as I can remember. By the time I was eighteen I had seven dogs and that necessitated a dog related job. I went to work as a veterinary technician. I stayed in that field for 16 years and decided to switch full time to styling dogs. In total I have over 30 years of experience grooming.

I am a member of IPG and I am an International Certified Master Groomer.While certification is not required in the grooming industry I strive to be the best I can be and want that verified by the industries best. I've shown parti color cockers for over 25 years, and have titled many dogs in both conformation and obedience.

My promise to you, is gentle, patient care of your canine companion. I will treat them as if they were my own. Owners are always welcome to watch me groom as long as your furry friend behaves while you are in the van. If they are too wiggly trying to get you to 'save' them it could be dangerous for them (moving dog+sharp instruments =dangerous). I have a video baby monitor if you need to view from the comfort and convenience of your home.

Mike: I have been grooming with Julie since 2001. I took a few breaks to drive with my CDL when Julie was home with our kids and most recently to let a few grooming related injuries heal. I really missed grooming and spending time with the dogs so decided to join her again in the family business. I will be obtaining my CPG (Certified Professional Groomer) certification in 2016.

You might see one of our kids riding with us on occasion as the love for dogs runs deep in the Hydro family. Grooming for us is truly a family affair.
